A donor-advised fund for everyone: set money aside, let it grow, give it away. One of the people who built its financial infrastructure and its web and iOS apps, the solutions for private stock and for companies, and now AI-based features on top of all of it.
Accel Robotics
Checkout-free stores: walk in, take what you need, walk out. Software next to the computer vision pipeline that turns camera feeds into receipts. SoftBank led its $30M Series A while I was there.
Brubank
The first fully digital bank in Argentina, licensed by the Central Bank in 2018. I built and led the back end team behind the core banking services.
Knight-Mozilla Fellowship
A year of full-time open source with Mozilla, The New York Times and The Washington Post, working from the Times newsroom in New York with The Coral Project: tools for better comment sections, progressive web apps for newsrooms, and Guri VR on the side.
Mango
Online payments for Latin America, with an API you could plug in in hours. A small team, so a bit of everything, back end included; mine were the customer control panel, the JavaScript SDK and the developer libraries. Mercado Libre bought it in 2016.
theLIFT
A digital innovation agency in San Diego, building interactive things for startups and for companies like Sony and Qualcomm.
